In development — iOS first, Android next
Your want-to-try list deserves better than screenshots.
Restaurant Atlas turns every "we should go here" into a pin on your own map. Save places, drop a note, and when you're hungry in any neighborhood, see what you've been meaning to try — right there.
What it does
A memory for every meal you meant to have.
Pin it the moment you hear about it
A friend's recommendation, a dish you scrolled past, a window you walked by — save it in two taps with a note on why. Pins land on your map, not in a buried notes app.
See what's near you, right now
Standing somewhere hungry? The map shows your saved places around you first — the ones you actually wanted — before anything else.
Your taste, your atlas
After a visit, mark it loved, fine, or skip — with your own notes on what to order. Over time you build a personal atlas of every city you eat in.
Share maps with people you trust
Swap your Chicago taco map for a friend's Queens dumpling map. Shared maps stay between you — no public reviews, no ratings warfare.
The pin system
Three pins. That's the whole method.
Most food apps drown you in strangers' star ratings. Restaurant Atlas keeps score the way you actually think about restaurants.
- Want to try — saved with the note that made you save it.
- Loved it — your keepers, with what to order next time.
- Been there — visited, noted, no need to re-decide.
Waitlist
First taste goes to the waitlist.
The app is in active development. Waitlist members get the first beta builds and a say in which city's map data we polish first.
- When does it launch?
- When it's good. iOS beta comes first; we'll email the waitlist the day builds go out.
- Will it cost money?
- The core app — pins, notes, your map — will be free. Pricing for anything beyond that isn't decided yet, and we'll say so plainly when it is.
- Is my map public?
- No. Your pins are yours. Sharing is opt-in, per map, per person.
